Here, Near and Far

Having the A to Z Literacy Movement teachers here this morning made me realize it's time to share this list with you.  At the beginning of the year, we talked about helping people "here, near, and far."  Through class projects, student council projects and PTO events, you've made a difference!
Here's how we've touched the lives of many all around the world...

  • Recycling juice pouches for Terracycle (the money helped our school and we put less trash in a landfill!)
  • Visiting the clients at the Elderday Center
  • Collecting Box Tops for Education (to get supplies for our school)
  • Food drives for Batavia Food Pantry
  • Movie night (to help a LWS family whose house was destroyed by fire)
  • Flower sales (to benefit our after school reading program)
  • Pen Pal letters
  • Collecting pop tops for Ronald McDonald House
  • Red Cross dollar drive
  • Make a Wish cap day
  • Super Sibs cards
  • Jump Rope for Heart
  • Operation Christmas Child
  • A to Z Literacy Movement change drive
  • Feed My Starving Children
  • Free Rice

Hannnah L. T. Also I can't belive that the school year is almost over!

  2. You should all be proud of your hard work and gifts of service! Way to go 4S!! Mrs. Bardol

  3. I believe every child has a servant's heart, it's our job to help that heart keep beating!

  4. Well said! Denise
