Art with Mrs. H!

Friday was just an all about fun day, we did work, but it was fun work.
Independent reading.
Small group reading tasks, with some candy corn thrown in.  ;)
Math, Factor Captor!

Then Ian H.'s mom came to share a lesson on Claude Monet.
It was a beautiful day to savor, so she taught outside.

Then the kids created landscapes using the scenery around them:

Long marker strokes with many colors were then watered down to look like Monet's art:
