Operation Christmas Child BOY List

We're shopping for kids in the 10-14-year-old age range. Gifts may be brought to school November 1-11, not sooner! (And it turns out we cannot use the boot boxes we have, so if you have a more "standard" sized box, feel free to share it.)
When you have purchased an item, please leave a comment. We'll treat this like a gift registry, so we don't have many duplicates.

We will put a class picture and letter in each box.

Here's something I copied from the Operation Christmas Child Website, if it's too small click here to see it larger. PLEASE read it carefully, especially the "do not include" portion.

Just another reminder, OCC sends boxes all around the world. We do not know what climate our box will be going to. There are great videos on youtube about this organization, do some searching.

The 4S boys brainstormed a list of things to include in the boy box(es) and here's what they came up with

  • superballs
  • a yo-yo
  • Lego
  • Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars
  • socks
  • A T shirt
  • fun pencils
  • paper
  • erasers
  • colored pencils
  • a pencil sharpener
  • candy (no chocolates)
  • toothbrush
  • toothpaste
  • a watch
OCC is part of Samaritan's Purse, it IS a Christian organization, and there will be Christian information in each box (in the child's language), but boxes are not only given to Christian children.

Also, if your family would like to fill a box at home and send it in with $7, I will deliver it with the others during national collection week!

  1. For OCC- I am sending for the boxes the following: 3 Bars of Dove bar soap, 4 full size toothpastes, 4 toothbrushes, 3 packs strawberry orbit gum, 1 24 pc. crayon box, and 1 pack of 18 colored pony holders --K. Vani

  2. After going to six stores and shopping on-line, I found the number puzzles. Yay! One for each box!

  3. For OCC, Dylan will be bringing in 2 pencil sharpeners, 2 packages of colored pencils and 3 Hot Wheels --- Dawn Krol
